RARE BEEF WITH WASABI MAYONNAISE

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp Peanut Oil
1 Tsp Wasabi Paste
5 Tbsp Mayonnaise
Soy Sauce
200gms Fine Egg Noodles
1 Clove Garlic - Mashed
2 Cloves Garlic - Chopped
1 2.5cm piece Ginger - Finely Chopped
2 Tbsp Teriyaki Sauce
400gms Eye Fillet or Fillet Beef
1 Bunch Spring Onions
1 Tbsp Fish Sauce

Method

Marinate fillet in teriyaki, ginger and garlic for 1 hour. Remove fillet, pat dry then seal in a hot pan [leave rare]. Toss oil, onion and fish sauce through cooked, refreshed and reheated noodles. Arrange fillet on top. Serve with wasabi mayonnaise and soy sauce. For the wasabi mayonnaise, mix the mayo, wasabi paste and garlic together until smooth. Serves 4 as a starter
